A gentle beginning for our youngest tamariki, ages 0–2.

In the Infant Room

Held, known, and gently encouraged

From their very first days with us, our youngest tamariki are welcomed into a calm, unhurried space. Our infant room moves at the pace of each child — room to crawl, reach, rest, and wonder, with caregivers who notice the small moments that matter.

We work closely with whānau to keep each baby's rhythm consistent between home and centre — from feeds and sleeps to the songs and words they're learning to love.

  • Primary caregiver relationships for secure attachment
  • Sensory-rich floor time and movement exploration
  • Gentle routines shaped around each baby's rhythm
  • Daily communication with parents on feeds, sleeps, and milestones
A Day in the Infant Room

A gentle daily rhythm

Each baby's day flows to their own pattern, with sleeps and feeds guided by the child rather than the clock. This is the shape of a typical day in our infant room.
